I work with oil paint because of its vibrance and how long it takes to dry, which allows me to come back to a piece multiple times to refine it. I paint moments of beauty and awe that transfix one at the moment. I create my work for everyday people to see the beauty in wildlife that struggle to keep their place and survive in our modern world. I have a strong passion for wildlife conservation and its importance to a diverse and ongoing future. I layer and mix my paint on the canvas to create the most realistic animal possible with some artist liberties of course.
